Grow this vigorous vine on a strong rustic fence, a stout pergola or a sturdy arbor. Or use it to coverup that ugly outbuilding, chain-link fence or dog kennel. Because flowering occurs on new growth, you may prune Trumpet Vine severely in late winter in order to keep it in bounds.
