Hamamelis x ‘Winter Champagne’ – Witch-hazel – 7-Gallon

$135.00

‘Winter Champagne’ blooms between the fall blooming Common Witchhazel, H. virginiana, and the late winter blooming Vernal Witchhazel, H. vernalis, starting in December and continuing through January. Thus it’s thought the variety is likely to be a hybrid between the two species. Grown by Tim Brotzman of Madison Ohio from seedlings he got from Harald Neubauer of Tennessee where both species were being grown at Hidden Hollow Nursery. The fragrant flowers are a light champagne orange in color.
