Hylotelephium telephioides – Allegheny Stonecrop – 1-Pint

$5.00

Most gardeners aren’t aware there’s a native version of the well-known Eurasian stonecrop variety ‘Autumn Joy’. This is it. All of the upright stonecrops formerly in the genus Sedum have been split off into the genus Hylotelephium. They are tough, reliable perennials (another common name is Wild Live-forever) with pale pink flowers that are very attractive to a variety of beneficial bees. While the plant occurs in New York State, the occurrences are probably introductions from the primary range of the species in the Allegheny Mountains.
