Ilex opaca ‘Dan Fenton’ – Female American Holly – 3-Gallon

Primarily an understory tree of the Atlantic coastal plain, American Holly can be grown in the Catskills if given protection from winter sun and dessicative winds. When grown in full sun it will become a dense pyramidal-shaped tree. In a shadier spot it will become loose and irregular in form.
