Juniperus virginiana ‘Taylor’ – Eastern Red Cedar – 10-Gallon

$275.00

An upright narrow columnar form. Silvery blue-green foliage is attractive throughout the growing season. Foliage may take on some bronze tones in winter. ‘Taylor’ was discovered in Taylor, Nebraska as a chance seedling and was released in 1992 to the nursery trade by the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. ‘Taylor’ is a female cultivar. It produces waxy seed cones that look like a berry and are attractive to a wide variety of birds, in particular the Cedar Waxwing. You’ll have to rely on a wild male plant to provide pollen – at the moment we don’t have any male cultivars.
