Oenothera pilosella ‘Yella Fella’ – Meadow or Prairie Sundrops – 1.25-Quart

Similar to ‘Fireworks’ but without the strongly reddish buds. This is mostly a midwestern species but it does occur on calcareous soils at a number of locations in New York, including Ulster County. It’s native status here is unknown – it may have been introduced, but many occurrences do not appear to be garden escapes, but are found in quite natural settings.
