Phlox stolonifera – Creeping Phlox – 1-Quart

$6.00

A showy, ground-covering Phlox for the shady or woodland garden. Spikes of nice-size, fragrant flowers rise 8” above carpets of paddle-shaped foliage to wonderful effect. Creeping Phlox is found throughout the Appalachian Mountains, but isn’t native to our area. It’s abundant in north-central Pennsylvania though, so it’s well adapted to our climate. It’s a good nectar plant for early season butterflies and moths. Not deer-resistant.

‘Fran’s Purple’ is a more compact grower with shoter flowering scapes than the species.
