Uvularia sessifolia ‘Variegata’- Wild Oats – 1-Quart

$15.00

A rare form of a common woodland groundcover. Wild Oats is also known as Sessileleaf Bellflower. It’s common in the Catskills, though most people who came across it assume it’s a type of Solomon’s Seal. Both are in the lily family, but Wild Oats tends to form loose spreading colonies of numerous plants while Solomon’s Seal tends to occur in groups of 1 to a few stems. This form is lightly variegated – it won’t knock your socks off, but it gives a little pizzazz to an otherwise nondescript plant. Small, pale yellow, bell-shaped flowers appear in spring.
