This is indeed a beautiful variety, created in Great Britain from American plants and sent back over the ocean. A picture is worth a thousand words – we haven’t offered this variety for many years and so don’t have an image. We’ll get one this season.

The beauty does come at a cost. ‘Beauty of Cobham’ is not particularly resistant to that plague of bee balm, powdery mildew. Try to grow this variety in lots of sun with deep, rich, moisture-retentive soil so that it can grow vigorously and have the resources to fight off disease.
