Rhododendron ‘Lemon Lights’ – Deciduous Azalea – 2-Gallon

$34.00

A University of Minnesota production – another in their ‘Northern Lights’ series of floriferous and bone-chillingly cold-hardy azaleas all of which have at least one native species of azalea in their parentage. Striking two-toned yellow flowers, lighter at the outer edges of the petals and more gold-toned at the throats, emit a sweet fragrance. This variety almost always has a bit of a re-bloom in the Fall. ‘Lemon Lights’ parentage includes one of the Knap Hill azaleas, developed by Anthony Waterer at the Knap Hill Nursery in England near the turn of the 20th century and a hybrid azalea that has the native Coast Azalea, Rhododendron atlanticum in its parentage.
