Carpinus caroliniana Firespire® – American Hornbeam – 7-Gallon

Selected in 1993 by Mike Yanny from production fields at Johnson’s Nursery in Wisconsin for its narrow, upright form and outstanding orange-red Fall color. Slow-growing, it typically maintains a dense form without much pruning and can be useful for screening if an evergreen screen is not needed.
