Chamaecyparis nootkatensis ‘Glauca’ – Blue Alaskan Cedar

The wide, sweeping branches of this dramatic tree are draped with finely textured, glaucous foliage. In youth, the branches ascend; with age, they open horizontally and produce the upright, pyramidal form of the species. ‘Glauca’ makes an excellent, moderate-size specimen or an outstanding large hedge that rewards pruning with bright new growth. Trees thrive in moist and coastal conditions.
