Eutrochium dubium ‘Baby Joe’ – Coastal Joe-Pye Weed

$6.00$29.00

The shortest of the Joe-Pye Weeds, making it a good choice for smaller flower borders that can be overwhelmed by the larger species. Domes of lavender-pink flowers are attractive to butterflies. This plant grows primarily along the coastal plain from Maine to South Carolina and probably is only cold-hardy in our valleys and at lower elevations of the Catskills. Two very popular selections of this species are common in horticulture – ‘Little Joe’ and ‘Baby Joe’ – both are even more compact than the species.
