Iris prismatica – Slender Iris – 1-Quart

$6.00

A graceful and rare iris with slender grass-like foliage. The flowers are similar to the more commonly available Common Blue Flag, Iris versicolor, but with a distinctive broad white patch on the falls. Slender Blue Flag has more of a tendency to spread rather than clump making it a good choice for naturalizing in a bog garden with plenty of space. Requires an acidic soil. This is primarily an iris of coastal wetlands but it grows well throughout the Catskills.
