Micranthes pensylvanica – Swamp Saxifrage – 2-Quart

$10.00

Despite its name, Swamp Saxifrage most often grows in wet meadows, so you can grow it in moist soil as well as in bog gardens or along streamsides. It can become an immense plant (for a Saxifrage) if given moist, rich soil, with basal rosettes of large, paddle-shaped leaves and a flower spike that can reach 3 feet. The flowers are greenish in color – taken separately no trait of the plant is overtly showy, but the overall effect is dramatic.
