Lilium grayi – Gray’s Lily – 1-Pint

$9.00

A showy lily from the North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia mountains where it is restricted to high-elevation grassy balds, meadows, mountain bogs, and seeps. The bright red, bell-shaped flowers are spotted in purple – similar to the reddest forms of Canada Lily but the petals and sepals are not as strongly reflexed. This is an endangered species and a great treasure among our eastern native lilies. Our plants are nursery-propagated right here at CNN. In the early years of the nursery we sold many of these plants, then chipmunks got into our stock. We’ve slowly been building the stock back up from seed and should have young plants available once again in 2026.
