Nymphaea ‘Heng Heng’ – Medium ISG Water Lily

The first ISG hybrids were created to achieve the long-sought goal of purple-colored hardy water lilies. Now that the goal has been achieved we are seeing other, unique colors appear in new ISG varieties. ‘Heng Heng’ from Arun Kobkaew of Thailand has a deep pink, almost red color that really doesn’t exist in the older varieties of hardies. It’s a new lily for us Summer of ’23. We’ll see how it survives the winter, but we are hoping to have divisions available Summer of ’24.
