Description

This 1998 introduction from Kirk Strawn has star-shaped flowers that are dusted in pink and picoteed a darker pink. It’s similar to an older variety, ‘Joanne Pring’, but with a much higher petal count, better form, and larger size, resulting in a much showier flower. The foliage is attractive as well – deep green with numerous maroon splashes. Like another introduction from Kirk Strawn, ‘Gypsy’, this lily is a medium-sized grower that is good for medium to small ponds – it can even be adapted to tub culture.
