Oenothera perennis – Small Sundrops

$6.00

We came across this diminutive sundrops once in a while while developing the old farmland that became Catskill Native Nursery. We even propagated it a little. But not enough. We no longer have any plants to propagate from and no longer come across it on undeveloped portions of the farm. The plant does occur infrequently in our area and we mean to go in search of it  so that we can both sell a few and restore it to our gardens. It’s not as showy as other species of sundrops because the flowers are indeed much smaller, however, it would work in a rock garden or the herb garden in front of the house.
