Oenothera speciosa ‘Twilight’ – Showy Evening Primrose – 1-Pint

$4.00

Despite the common name this plant neither blooms exclusively in the evening (other members of the genus do so), nor is it in the primrose family (Primulaceae). It is indeed showy, and a great choice for a xeriscape where a low groundcover is needed. It’s a very aggressive spreader and needs room to run. Originally from rocky prairies and plains from Missouri and Kansas south to Texas and Mexico, it has spread eastward through the help of gardeners.

‘Twilight’ has foliage attractively blotched in purplish bronze
