Phegopteris connectilis – Narrow Beech Fern – 1-Quart

$7.00

Seldomly offered for sale but not because of a lack of good features. It’s favorite habitat is a shaded bank near cool and running water – it often lives under small waterfalls. But it’s very easy to grow. Simply supply woodland conditions and it will spread rapidly to form an attractive dense ground cover. It has a different look than most ferns with a triangular shape and lower pinnae held at a different angle than the upper ones as if they are falling downward like the waterfalls they often live by. Cold hardy throughout the Catskills.
