Rhododendron x ‘Aglo’ – Small Leaf Rhododendron – 5-Gallon

A relative of the ubiquitous PJM rhododendron but with pure pink flowers instead of the purplish-pink of PJM. The foliage of ‘Aglo’ takes on mahogany tones in winter. As for all rhododendrons, protect from winter wind and afternoon sun. Cold hardy to zone 4b (-25°F). A Mezitt hybrid involving the Carolina Rhododendron (R. minus var. minus) from the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains and Dahurian Rhododendron (R. dauricum)  from Asia.
