Rudbeckia triloba ‘Blackjack Gold’ – Brown-eyed Susan

$6.00$17.00

Numerous, flat-faced, bright golden yellow flowers with a deep brown center provide a more natural, less formal look than the ubiquitous Black-eyed Susan. This shrubby plant puts so much energy into flowering that it’s usually a short-lived perennial – but it will persist through self-sowing, making it a great choice for naturalizing in a meadow. Or combine with Great Blue Lobelia, Obedient Plant, Turtlehead and Bee Balm in a perennial border. A true country flower, perfect for bouquets. Attractive to native pollinators and seeds are eaten by songbirds. Not deer-resistant.
