Sarrarcenia x ‘Daina’s Delight’ – Pitcher Plant – 1-Pint

$15.00

In the mid 1990s Kim Magnuson of Hawaii introduced this hybrid of Whitetop Pitcher Plant (S. leucophylla) and Sarracenia ×willisii. It was created by Mark Edwards of New Zealand, who named the plant after his daughter. ‘Daina’s Delight’ (not Dana or Diana) brings even more color to the wonderful, Whitetop Pitcher Plant. In spring, the early pitchers are green at the bottom and fuchsia at the top with white speckles. By early fall, the entire pitcher turns reddish and the top turns deep fuchsia-red with dark-plum veining.
