Tsuga canadensis ‘Woodrose’ – Dwarf Variegated Eastern Hemlock – 1-Quart

A white variegated, dwarf Canadian Hemlock from Ed Wood of Bonsai Village in Aurora, Oregon. Grows slowly into a quite compact and rounded shrub – it can develop a bit of a bird’s nest form with time. New leaves are flushed with white and take on some rose tones in winter. Like most hemlock varieties with white or yellow foliage avoid foliage burn by providing a little shade from the hot mid-day to afternoon sun.
