Uvularia perfoliata – Smooth Merrybells – 1-Quart

A smaller cousin to Great Merrybells, Uvularia grandiflora, with 1” long, straw-yellow flowers that are more bell-like than the flowers of Great Merrybells. It’s also more tolerant of drier soils than its bigger cousin. The blue-green foliage is equally attractive  – the latin name for this species describes how the foliage is pierced by the stem. Easy to grow, it will spread fairly quickly to make a nice-size clump.
