Wisteria frutescens ‘Aunt Maude’ – American Wisteria – 1-Quart

$17.00

A rare double-flowered form! Like other varieties of North American Wisteria, ‘Aunt Maude’ is much less rampant than any Asian Wisteria and much more likely to bloom. The violet-blue flowers of American Wisteria are bunched together in 3-to-4 inch cones held up and away from the foliage. They appear over the course of 2-4 weeks, a longer bloom period than that of Asian Wisterias. The double flower clusters of ‘Aunt Maude’ are a little more showy but also likely a little less attractive to bumblebees.
