Panicum virgatum ‘Shenandoah’ – Red Switch Grass

‘Shenandoah’ is one of the first red-leaved switchgrasses and still considered a worthy variety despite the appearance of a number of rivals. Deep green leaves take on dark red tones by August and turn mostly burgundy in fall. Effective either as a specimen or en masse.
