Acorus americanus – Sweet Flat – 1-Quart

$6.00

An invaluable addition to the water garden for its neat, clean appearance. Hardy and foolproof, it provides an upright architectural accent to the pond. Although this plant has the same common name as Blue Flag, it’s not in the Iris family. It’s flowers look nothing like an Iris, but are cone-like and borne on hook-like clubs about one third to halfway up from the base of the foliage. Leaves and roots smell sweetly of cinnamon when crushed. Spreads by rhizomes but is not overly aggressive –  great in a pot where it becomes very dense.

Water Depth – Up to 6”
