Aesculus ×neglecta ‘Erythroblastos’ – Sunrise Buckeye – 1-Gallon

$34.00

Grown for its foliage display in Spring, the leaves emerge the most beautiful rich and creamy pink, tinged orange and dusty rose. Even the leaf stalks are bright pink. There is simply nothing quite like it. A naturally occurring hybrid between Yellow (A. flava) and Painted Buckeye (A. sylvatica), selected in Germany and given an Award of Garden Merit in 1962 by the Royal Horticultural Society. And yet, despite such a distinction, it has never been widely planted anywhere and the only places you are likely to encounter it are at superior arboreta around the world (or perhaps your backyard!)
