Amsonia tabernaemontana ‘Starstruck’ – Eastern Bluestar

Another terrific new variety of Eastern Bluestar that is similar to the fantastic ‘Storm Cloud’ but is more compact and later to bloom, following ‘Storm Cloud’ by about 1-2 weeks. Like ‘Storm Cloud’ ‘Starstruck’ emerges in the Spring with very dark foliage followed by pale blue flowers. After the flowers fade the plant develops a full habit with vibrant green leaves with lighter midribs and dark olive stems. Like all Bluestars, ‘Starstruck’ looks great all season long with blemish-free foliage and it’s rock solid deer resistant.
