Asclepias incarnata ‘Cinderella’ – Swamp Milkweed

$6.00$12.00

This is probably the easiest milkweed to grow to help feed Monarch butterfly caterpillars – adults get nectar from the flowers as well! Despite being found in wet locations in the wild, this plant does fine under average garden conditions. The pink and white flowers are borne in flat-topped umbels above darkish green foliage, and are a good source of nectar for bees and other beneficial insects. They make good cut flowers and the seed pods are ornamental as well. Use with Cardinal Flower, Turtlehead, Blue Flag, Monkeyflower, Ironweeds and Palm Sedge.
