Asclepias verticillata ‘Whorled Milkweed’

$5.00$9.00

The narrow, linear leaves of this milkweed give it a soft texture – similar to Hubricht’s Bluestar, Amsonia hubrichtii. A mature plant will produce so many clusters of greenish-white to creamy white flowers that it looks a bit like a fluffy white foxtail. These flowers are a great source of nectar for butterflies and bees. Monarch butterfly caterpillars feed on the foliage. A tough plant that thrives on neglect and will spread slowly to form a small colony over time.
