Cornus racemosa – Gray Dogwood

$24.00$59.00

A very tough shrub, useful for natural hedgerows because of its suckering habit and great value for wildlife. The flowers are borne on panicles that turn red as the fruits turn white in midsummer. The contrast is quite ornamental. The fruits don’t last long though because they are gobbled up by birds. Tolerates shady conditions but fall color will be an attractive deep wine red when grown in a sunnier spot.
