Prunus domestica ‘Stanley’ – European Plum – 7-Gallon

The gold standard for prune plums was developed by Cornell University’s New York State Agricultural Experiment Station at Geneva, New York in 1926. ‘Stanley’ produces abundant crops of oval-shaped fruit with deep purple skin and sweet golden flesh. Tastes great when picked fresh or when dried or canned. Freestone. Ripens in early September. Self-pollinating though yield will be boosted by having a second variety in the vicinity for cross-pollination.
