Rubus ‘Joan J’ – Red Fall Raspberry – 2-Gallon

$29.00

Berry early fall crop, berry productive, thornless and a consistent high scorer in taste tastes – what more could you want in a raspberry? ‘Joan J’ berries are large, firm and easy to pick. This variety was created in England in 1995 and reached North America around 2005. It has turned out to be quite cold hardy in North America – down to zone 4 – so it should perform well throughout the Catskills. Plant an additional bed of a later fall variety like ‘Crimson Night Red’ or ‘Double Gold’ and you can have fall raspberries from August through October.
