Rubus odoratus – Flowering Raspberry – 1 quart

$8.00

A raspberry grown for its showy rose-purple flowers rather than it’s fruit. The flowers are large for the genus – around 2” wide – and are a favorite of bees. They even go to the plant in its preferred cool, shady locations where bees usually don’t venture. The fruit is edible but not particularly juicy or flavorful. Spreads by stolons to form a multi-stem patch but because the maple leaf-like foliage is furry and the canes lack thorns, it’s gardener-friendly, not a scratchy briar patch.
