Monarda fistulosa – Wild Bergamot

$5.00$17.00

A common old-field wildflower in the Catskills that can also be used as a mainstay in the perennial border or herb garden. The violet, tousled flower heads are a favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies, especially Great Spangled Fritillaries. The foliage has a fragrance similar to the true Bergamot that flavors Earl Grey tea. Spreads moderately by runners.
