Prosartes lanuginosa – Yellow Fairybells – 1-Quart

$15.00

Sulphur-yellow flowers dangle on long filaments underneath the foliage like fairies floating in air and giving rise to an alternative name, Fairy Bells. Striking orange fruits develop in late Summer and into Fall. Yellow Mandarin has a more widespread distribution in eastern North America than its congener, Spotted Mandarin, reaching its northern limit in New York, but only in the western portion of the state, it’s not indigenous to the Catskills, though it grows well here.
