Amsonia hubrichtii – Threadleaf Bluestar

$5.00$13.00

The most elegant of the numerous species of Bluestar, with fine, narrow foliage and the same pale blue flowers. It really is mostly grown though for the billowy effect of the foliage when planted en masse, and it’s become one of the most popular perennials for this purpose, native or non-native. Like all Bluestars the foliage takes on golden apricot tones in the Fall, extending the useful season for the plant, though, again, the impact of the fall foliage show is enhanced by a mass planting. Check out our planting in front of the dancing rabbits between the nursery and our vegetable garden.
