Prunus persica Blushingstar® – White Peach – 7-Gallon

$79.00

One of the Stellar® series of peaches bred at Fruit Acres farm in Michigan. White peaches are generally low in acidity and taste sweeter than yellow peaches but without much tanginess. Blushingstar® has more acidity than most white peaches and a fair bit of yellow peach tanginess, along with a penetrating, pleasing aroma. It’s considered one of the most flavorful of white peaches. The white flesh is tinged with pink and does not brown when cut. Blushingstar® sets very heavy crops and must be thinned to achieve good fruit size. It has some resistance to bacterial spot. Ripens in late August to early September.
